What is TOT and what could an increase in the City’s TOT mean for its residents and businesses? The Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) revenues benefit programs to stimulate tourism, promote the economy, create jobs, and/or a better quality of life in the City of Sonora.
The Sonora City Council is introducing a ballot measure to increase the City’s TOT. But what is it, and what impact could this have for our residents and businesses? We’ve put together a quick informational presentation (below).
