The public may address the Council on any item of public interest not otherwise on the agenda that is within the jurisdiction of the City. No action may be taken. Matters to be addressed may be referred to City Staff or placed on a subsequent meeting Agenda. Speakers are limited to a five (5) minute presentation

Items on the Consent Calendar are considered routine and will be voted on in the one motion unless a Council member or member of the public has a question or wishes to discuss an item. In the case, the item will be removed from the Consent Calendar and considered separately.

  1. Approve the following meeting minutes:
    a. City Council Open Session Meeting of December 18, 2017 
  2. Approval to pay invoices of previously budgeted expenses on January 17, 2018
  3. Approval of disbursement in the amount of $149,375.27 on December 22, 2017 and $139,313.36 on January 5, 2018 for payroll, inclusive of employee salaries, employer and employee taxes and retirement contributions, and miscellaneous voluntary employee deductions.

G. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
1. Consideration to waive the second reading and adopt Ordinance No. 847 amending Chapter 8.35 of the Sonora Municipal             Code relating to personal cannabis cultivation

2. Consideration to waive the second reading and adopt Ordinance No. 848 amending Chapter 8.36 of the Sonora                             Municipal Code relating to cannabis businesses

1. Consideration to approve the Tourism Promotion Agreement between the City of Sonora, Count of Tuolumne and Tuolumne County Visitors Bureau

2. Consideration to accept the Greenley Road-Mono Way Intersection Project -Phase 2 contract improvements with George Reed, Inc. as complete; and authorize the filing of a Notice of Completion

3. Consideration to accept the Traffic Impact Mitigation Fee Fund Report for Fiscal Year 2017
