MAGIC OF THE NIGHT

Friday, August 10, 2012 from 6 to 9 p.m.

 

Sonora's Night Life Heats Up

Stroll the Streets of Historic Downtown Sonora and  hear a wide variety of music and find an array of entertainment. This summer time event is great for the entire family and has something for everyone! 

So come join the fun!

This event is Free to the public and includes:

Chains Required A 10 piece rhythm and blues based band that will have you dancing or just singing along to your favorite tunes. They are sure to get you moving and grooving! At Court House Square  

Looking for a little Cajun Style of Music? then check out  The Blues Box Bayou Band at Coffill Park 


The Hills Brothers Band with their own style of Classic Rock, Soul and Blues. They will get your toes tapping on Linoberg Street.


Mountain Mischief will be entertaining all around the town and don't miss their performance in Court House Square
(see schedule below)


Rockin Rick & the Rhythm Wranglers

Playing Rockabilly, Surf, 50's and good old Rock'N'Roll, they will be located at the Volunteer Fire Museum near the Red Church. You can also check out the Volunteer Fire Museum and see their Antique Fire Trucks that will be on display or just have a bit to eat.

Eclectic Caravan
Oracle ~ Tribal Fusion Belly Dancers. Elaborately Costumed, Beautifully adorned Dancers. Performing at Court House Square.
The Burning Sky Musicians  
They perform and primarily feature: Tribal Rhythms, World Fusion and Traditional Middle Eastern Music. They work in tandem with Oracle to form Eclectic Caravan Belly Dance Troupe.

The Sonora Opera Hall will feature several entertainers including:

  Hard Luck Lin who will entertain folks of all ages with her old time games of chance, book signings or just spinning a tale or two.

The Mother Lode Antique Car Club and the Model "A" Car Club will also be at Court House Square showing off their vintage classics.
