HUMAN RESOURCES

As a part of the City Administration Office, Human Resources is responsible for all areas relating to employment within the City of Sonora. The City is committed to employee training/education and is active with both the Employment Risk Management Authority (ERMA) and the International Public Management Association – Human Resources (IPMA-HR).  Both of these organizations are made up of public sector employers in the field of Human Resources and both provide up-to-date training in the ever changing and evolving field of Human Resources. Training topics range from a healthy work environment to the latest in employment law.
